However, if you collect these pieces, you might find the interpretations worth your time. Web1 feb 1989 · Since I last wrote about this twin-disc of the Dvorak tone poems, Rattle and Mackerras added their recordings of these pieces to the extensive Dvorak discography. Despite this, the Järvi twofer of the tone poems is just as excellent and holds its own. There are many musical (and, on a side-note, encyclopaedic) strengths in this twofer.
