WebI created a closed sketching profile and turned off the visibility of all datum planes. But still I can create a datum plane offset to sketch. See the below picture. I think it can be useful in some special cases. I don't remember which other CAD tool is having similar provision,so not really sure where we can make best use of this provision. WebI'm feeling like an idiot! I've drawn two rectangles. One is on the front plane with the bottom left corner starting at the origin. The second rectangle is on a plane offset from the front plane by 1 in. The bottom left corner of this rectangle also starts in-line with the origin.
