WebOct 20, 2024 · The Bushing would move side to side in the slide about .01" This is the sloppiest 1911 barrel / bushing / slide fit I've ever seen. .01 is just rattling around in the slide. .018 is like 4" of lost potential accuracy at 25 yds from just the bushing. I think the collet bushings are absolute trash from my very limited experience. The material surrounding the collar (ring) is too thin to hold up. We just worked over a fairly new Briley Signature model with all the bells and whistles, linkless barrel and Briley Bushing.
